General –

How involved am I in the process?

Our approach is very collaborative! We get to know you and your business inside out so that we can help you take your business to the next level. If you haven’t worked with a designer before, we’ll guide you through the process and provide expert recommendations. You’ll be kept in the loop, and will be encouraged to provide plenty of feedback and make key decisions during each stage.

Do you offer rounds of revisions?

Yes, at times it can take around 2-3 rounds of revisions to reach your desired outcome. We begin each project with a deep understanding of your business, and take a strategic approach, so it’s often rare to need more than this.

What happens once the project is all wrapped up?

By now, we’ll know your business inside and out, so it’s easy to apply that foundational knowledge to any future projects. Our team will be available to help with any maintenance, support or additional projects moving forward.

Pricing –

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we break payments up into 2-3 instalments. After our initial consultation we provide you with a quote. From here, a 30% deposit is placed to secure your booking. If the project is large, we’ll invoice a part payment throughout your project, with the remaining work billed upon completion.

Will you keep me in the loop on how time / costs are tracking?

Absolutely! We keep a record of our hours using time tracking software. At any stage during the project you are welcome to request an update. If we feel that part of your project is taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know so that there are no surprises.

Branding –

How do I know if my brand needs a refresh?

There are many reasons for needing a brand refresh. It’s important not to undergo a refresh just for the sake of it, but to assess why you think you need one. The most common reasons we see are:

  • Your logo doesn’t work across different platforms and social media, meaning it may not be optimised for the digital age!

  • Your business has outgrown your branding. This often happens as your business values change and your purpose develops. You may now look at your brand and feel it no longer reflects who you are. If this is the case, your customers might just feel the same.

  • You only have a logo, not a brand experience. In our modern world, often a logo isn’t enough. Customers expect an experience that spreads across visuals, brand language, marketing, websites and more. Connecting these all together is something that we specialise in.

What if I don’t know what kind of brand I want or need?

We’re committed to understanding who you are, what your business goals are and where you’re going. We then harness this knowledge to recommend a package that suits your needs, or we create a custom one if required.

I’m starting up a business, can I just get a logo?

Think of your logo as being one piece of your larger brand identity, it is an identification marker for your business but doesn’t communicate the full picture. A full brand covers your strategy, your values, your purpose, how you communicate, how you serve your customers, if you’re trustworthy (the list goes on!). Investing a brand at the beginning has proven over and over again to be a large part of future business success. As a business owner, you always put your best foot forward and your brand should be no exception!

How will I use my brand across social media and marketing platforms?

Using your new shiny brand consistently across all platforms is a huge part of launching successfully and keeping your customers engaged. All of our packages include a brand guideline document (to show you how to use the brand), as well as a guide on how to use all of your files. We also offer a variety of packages to help you with implementing and maintaining your brand across social media and the wider internet.

What do I need to have ready before our project can start?

Before we can get cracking, we always start with a consultation either over the phone or in person. From here we may get you to complete an online briefing form. This is a simple online form that helps us to understand your business a little more, any specific requests you might have, as well as identifying your style preferences.

How involved am I during the brand design process?

We're a team! We always encourage our clients to bring any ideas or visions they have to the table. This helps to get the ball rolling and set the tone of what your goals are. We are also open to you taking a more hands off approach, we get it – you’re busy. Whatever works for you, works for us.

How long will it take?

Every project and client is different! Make sure to allow plenty of time for designing, proofing, and alterations. If you have a deadline, make sure to let us know during our briefing and we will do our best to meet it. If you have a large project coming up, book in ahead of time to avoid disappointment. During the year we do have busy periods and there may be a waitlist, so always book in with us as soon as you can.

Website –

I’m not tech savvy! Will you teach me how to manage my new website?

Absolutely, we are passionate about training you to give you the confidence to manage your website yourself. We take you through a 1-hour training and are always around to answer any follow up questions. If you don't have time for managing your own site, we're happy to keep up the mahi and make updates for you!

I don’t have a domain

You do not need to have bought a domain before you work with us. We can take care of this for you or assist you in purchasing one for yourself. Don’t understand how they work? No problem. That’s what we’re here for!

Do I need to provide the images for my website?

Yes. You will need to provide the images for your website. If you don't have many images to supply, we can provide stock images or arrange professional shots at an extra cost. Imagery is a crucial part of web design, so it pays to do this part well.

Do I need to provide the written content for my website?

Yes. Before we get started we will need you to provide the written copy for your website. This is crucial to get right as it will need to be optimised for google. Your written copy is also your brand’s voice, so it needs to reflect the service or product you provide. If this isn’t your area of expertise, no stress! We work with fantastic copywriters who can work with you to write your content.
