Project highlights
Cultural Storytelling Through Design – The window graphics, wayfinding, and mural weave together the school’s cultural narrative, creating a space rich in meaning.
A Thoughtful Approach to Window Frosting – Balancing privacy with creativity, the frosting design provides functional coverage while transforming the windows into a meaningful visual feature.
A Graduate Profile That Lives Beyond Paper – Visual emblems and student involvement ensure the Graduate Profile is not just displayed but actively embraced in daily school life.

Alongside this, we brought the school’s Graduate Profile to life, creating a visual framework that embodies what success looks like for Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate students. Built around Te Reo Māori, Te Ao Māori, and Tikanga Māori, we crafted a set of emblems and patterns that represent these pou in a way that feels both meaningful and memorable. To ensure it resonated with students, we got them involved, encouraging them to explore what these values look like in their everyday lives. From speaking more te reo to leading karakia and waiata, the Graduate Profile isn’t just a document. It’s something to be lived, celebrated, and carried forward.

The result? A school environment that doesn’t just look good. It tells a story, strengthens connections, and inspires the next generation of Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate graduates.
